The End of 2020

When I started 2020, I was hopeful and excited for the upcoming year. There were upcoming horse shows, clinics to attend, weekend trail rides that were already scheduled and the list goes on. I belong to a fox hunting club local to me and we were able to get our annual Gala in but then it fell apart from there. I distinctly remember March 13th in particular. My world came to a grinding halt. I received the email that my work was being suspended indefinitely. When I first heard of Covid 19 I was thinking that it would be over in a few weeks and life would be back to normal. OMG was I totally off the mark. But I am sure I was not the only one! Everything was canceled and to this day my old job has not resumed.
Now starting into 2021 I am looking to do a 180 here. I now know that I'll not be called back to my job. It's time to rethink my future. I am lucky to have the support of a great fiancé that has had my back since the get go. He has let me explore a lot of different options. This is where I am today. Looking to start a blog about The Equestrienne Lifestyle. It will be a journey in which to gain knowledge and meet many new people in the future. I am not in my comfort zone anymore. I have decided that I must crack out of my shell to be able to get back to a new "normal". While I love that I have the support from my family both financially and them being my biggest cheerleaders, I want to feel like a contributing member as I used to be before Covid knocked me for a loop!
So as I begin this journey I want to be able to let this blog be a place where people can get to find out more about what's going in the equine community from all parts of the globe.
